Estudio comparativo de los efectos de la técnica de Stretching Activo con fijación específica supra púbica y Energía Muscular para extensión de columna lumbar sobre la flexo extensión de tronco en deportistas asintomáticos

Resumen

Históricamente, los problemas asociados a la movilidad de tronco han sido objeto de estudio de diferentes disciplinas, debido a las múltiples problemáticas asociadas a este fenómeno. En el marco de la Osteopatía, dichos problemas han sido abordados a partir de distintas técnicas de intervención, las cuáles han arrojado resultados contradictorios. Teniendo en cuenta los aportes de las técnicas destinadas al tejido miofascial, el objetivo del presente estudio ha sido analizar los efectos inmediatos en la movilidad en flexo extensión de tronco (FTB-TBB) de la técnica stretching activo con fijación específica supra púbica y de la técnica de energía muscular para limitación de la extensión lumbar. Para cumplir los objetivos planteados, se llevó a cabo un ensayo clínico controlado y aleatorizado de grupos paralelos, a doble ciego con una muestra compuesta por 46 deportistas asintomáticos. Los mismos fueron asignados aleatoriamente al grupo A que recibió la técnica de stretching activo con fijación específica supra púbica o al grupo B que recibió la técnica de energía muscular para extensión lumbar. Los datos fueron obtenidos con el sistema de videoanálisis 2 D. Los resultados obtenidos dieron cuenta de los efectos inmediatos de dichas intervenciones evidenciando un resultado estadísticamente significativo en el incremento del ROM tanto para la TBB como para la FTB. A la luz de los datos surgidos, el presente trabajo apoya la noción de que los tejidos miofasciales de la región anterior y posterior del tronco se encuentran relacionados anatómica y funcionalmente, y que la intervención terapéutica en uno de ellos puede aumentar el ROM en ambos sentidos. Se recomienda continuar avanzando en esta línea de estudio para la obtención de evidencias que permitan apoyar los postulados de las técnicas destinadas a los tejidos miofasciales.
